Any resident living within the Lemont Public Library District may obtain a borrower’s card by completing an application form and furnishing proof of current residency, i.e. current driver’s license, utility bill. Residents, seventeen and younger, must have a parent or legal guardian sign the application. You may download the form (library application) using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Enter the necessary information, print a copy, and bring it to the library at your convenience with the necessary documentation.
A resident card is valid for three years.
Patrons must be present and show a valid ID when renewing their card.
If you are not a resident of the Lemont Public Library District, please check the Borrowers section of our Circulation Policy to determine whether or not you are eligible to purchase a card, or otherwise borrow materials from the library. The current cost to purchase a Lemont Public Library card is $168, and it is valid for one year.
